For the past four years my friend Cathy and I meet at the Calgary Folk Fest with our Airstream trailer that we had converted into a cute little store. We bring a fantastic selection of friends work from Saskatchewan, Alberta and BC. I loved being around so much talent. I intended to take more product shots but didn’t. The festival takes place at Prince’s Island Park in the middle of the city, a beautiful park surrounded by a river with big trees everywhere. We had great weather and enjoyed some really good music- Beirut, Gillian Welch, Whitehorse, Little Scream to name a few. Add Delicious wood fired pizza, Sangria, micro brew and some of my favourite people. This weekend is always a highlight of summer.
